How to Measure Shock Current

This manual provides instructions for measuring shock current on a treadmill equipped with an electric shock system, including steps for setting the shock level, starting the treadmill with shocks activated, and using a voltage meter to verify the current measurement is within acceptable tolerance.

How to Measure Shock Current

Step 1: Set Shock Level

Set shock level, say 0.7mA

Step 2: Start Treadmill Run

  1. Click on Start button on the control screen to start treadmill
  2. Push red buttons on treadmill to start counting
  3. Click Electric button on the control screen to start shocks

The treadmill is running with shock on.

Step 3: Measure Current Level

  1. Turn on a voltage meter as shown below (in AD mode)
  2. Touch point needles to adjacent grid bars and read the meter measurement (0.69 mA)
  3. The error should be within 0.10mA
